MeadWestvaco has reengineered its popular Tango line of Coated Covers. The new introduction promises even better performance on press, and an enhanced clean-white styling. The new sheet is called Tango Advantage, and is indicated by the new blue color scheme on carton and skid labels. All Tango C1S Blanks papers (15 point and up) remain unchanged.
The new shade, called clean-white, is a color based on an extensive study conducted by MeadWestvaco earlier this year. In that study, many printers surveyed indicated an interest in this clean-white shade, as opposed to competitive grades that were considered too yellow or too blue.
A detailed testing process was employed to verify that Tango Advantage would offer stellar performance in the areas of accurate color reproduction, fade resistance, runnability, and ease of getting to color. The new sheet passed with flying colors!
